The vast range of natural beauty in Western Australia is unbeatable. Imagine pristine white beaches, aqua blue oceans, towering forests, ancient gorges, carpets of wildflowers and friendly yet wild dolphins. Stretching from Kununurra in the north, through the capital of Perth on the south west coast, right around to the untouched beaches of Albany and Esperance, the largest state of Australia is best seen from top to toe. One of Australia’s great wilderness areas, the north west boasts the Kimberley Region, known for its gorges, freshwater crocodiles, sea fossils and exotic birds and the beachside town of Broome. Often referred to as paradise, Broome’s endless white beaches, including the 22 kilometre picture perfect Cable Beach, is a perennial favourite. Along the 260 kilometre Coral Coast on the western edge of the state is a plethora of stunning seascapes. Explore the marine and plant life of World Heritage Listed Shark Bay, snorkel the exotic Ningaloo Reef, explore the seaside town of Exmouth and hang out with the local dolphins at Monkey Mia. North of Western Australia’s capital of Perth, the mystical moonscape of the Pinnacles Desert set in the Nambung National Park, will be a memorable highlight.
