ITINERARY
Day 1: Victoria Falls: On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, where you will spend the next two nights. The afternoon will be spent at your leisure. For dinner, we invite you to the famous Boma Restaurant to experience an African feast.
Overnight: Ilala Lodge or similar (Rooms with private bathroom, pool, restaurant and bar area)
Meals: Dinner
Day 2: Victoria Falls: Today you can use the time to participate in the various optional activities available or simply explore the wonderful town of Victoria Falls. End your day with a spectacular sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Overnight: Ilala Lodge or similar

Days 3, 4 & 5: Victoria Falls – Kariba Houseboat: After breakfast a road transfer will take you to Binga, from where you will embark on a 3 night houseboat adventure and a truly unique experience. The fully equipped, luxury houseboat will take you on a cruising journey on Lake Kariba, while you relax and enjoy some activities such as game viewing, fishing and bird watching.

Day 6: Kariba Houseboat - Hwange After breakfast a road transfer will take you to Elephant’s Eye, Hwange Eco-Lodge, which is situated 13 km from the main camp of Hwange National Park in a a private concession of 6000 acre. The lodge is a truly eco-style lodge offering a unique barefoot luxury experience. Accommodation is in a tented chalet surrounded by mosquito netting. Travellers can enjoy the beautiful setting looking onto a waterhole which is frequented by elephants and other game. All chalets are waterhole facing and there is a guide on site to walk clients to and from communal areas and chalets.The afternoon is at your leisure, beside the swimming pool, having sundowners on the viewing deck or participating in some of the optional activities on offer.

Day 7: Hwange National Park Today is spent on a game drive in the Hwange National Park, the largest national park in Zimbabwe, covering an area of approximately 14 650 km2. Named after a local chief, Hwange is situated in the northwest corner of the country about one hour south of the Victoria Falls. Because of its close proximity to the Falls, Hwange boasts an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna, and a plethora of African wildlife. There are over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded here. Specifically, the elephant population in Hwange is considered world famous, as it is one of the largest in the world.

Day 8: Hwange At dawn you will embark on a game drive to continue your search for the magnificent African wildlife in this area. After lunch and a siesta you will have the option of going on an afternoon game drive, or visit a traditional homestead where the locals will welcome you into their home, and you may experience their lifestyle.

Day 9: Departure Enjoy your last breakfast at the lodge before your 2½ hour drive back to Victoria Falls Airport, where you embark on your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
