I have been in the travel industry since 1997, and over the years I've been asked one question more than any other:
Why would I use a travel advisor?
My answer is always the same: Why wouldn't you?
For nearly 30 years, I've spent my career learning the ins and outs of travel, so you don't have to. I received my Travel & Tourism diploma at 21 years old. At the time, I hadn't travelled very far but I was captivated by the idea of exploring the world! Looking back now, its amazing to see how that dream has taken me across continents and shaped a career I truly love.
Over the many decades, I have worked in all realms of travel, from wholesale, retail, corporate, group, adventure and luxury travel planning, to managing emergency after-hours services. My extensive experience in airline ticketing, with an in-depth understanding of fare construction, airline rules, routing requirements, ticket exchanges, refunds, schedule changes, and complex international itineraries allows me to navigate airline systems efficiently and help clients avoid costly mistakes.
North South Travel has built solid relationships with trusted suppliers and local experts around the world, and I've gained firsthand travel experience through my own adventures.
I was able to transfer with my job and worked in Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand for 5 years in the travel industry. I was also able to explore so many different countries like Thailand, Fiji, Bali and Malaysia. I've been through Europe, Mexico, and across the USA and Canada, this year I am off to Nashville, Palm Springs and Hawaii to name a few!
